One of the simplest routes into plant medicine is working with indigenous herbs & plant medicines to support your sleep and dreamtime.
In this mini-workshop, you'll be asked to choose an indigenous herb or plant (or more than one) with sleep-supporting and/or dream-activating qualities to work with this weekend. (Please make sure it's non-stimulating!)
Some of my favourites may already be growing in your garden: lavender, rose chamomile, passionflower, mugwort, mint, sage & tulsi.
If you don't have access to the herbs/plants directly you can find good quality dried leaves/flowers to use.
For the next five nights, I'm going to ask you to create a ritual for sleep and dreaming with your plants of choice.
We'll boil the herbs for a medicinal tea & for a footbath/bath.
(You can add bath salts (2 tbsp) or magnesium flakes (2 tbsp) to the foot bath as desired if you have these at home.)
Please bring your herbs/flowers to this call for a blessing.
If you have any questions about what kind of herb/plant to use, you can email us here to check in.
You need your herb/plant of choice and access to a pan and stove for steeping and boiling.
If you have already got Magnesium Flakes or Bath Salts at home, you can add these to the footbath.
You're going to record your dreams in the morning when you wake, so a notebook and pen or a special dream diary is also needed.
